Day of Gal was born 14 years ago after founder, Hannah Campbell-Anderson, attended over 40+ weddings for friends and family and saw one thing missing at almost all of these weddings - a coordinator. A non/friend or family member who knows all the details and major players of the day - from vendors to grandmothers, floral delivery time and venue rules to the Groom’s favorite cocktail. Someone whose job it is to be your advocate and wrangle the day from beginning to end. Someone you can trust to hand over the reigns to - your Day of Gal! In 2021, Hannah handed Day of Gal over to Julia Pugmire who is now the proud owner of this incredible women-owned, small biz.
We are hopeless romantics. No matter how many "I Do's" we work or attend, we fall head-over-heels for each couple's love story, the champagne and sentiments woven into your special day. And while it's a day where magic happens and cherished memories are made, it can also be a day filled with expectations, unique family dynamics and stressful situations making sure all the details are executed and running smoothly!
The goal is to have the time of your life and immerse yourself into every special second, while still making sure the event happens without a hitch. That’s where we come in! We're not just your average Coordinators; we are your Day of GALs and your wedding’s best friend! We'll be there to make sure everything falls into place, and to go with the flow when need be. We come polished and prepared to put out any fires... or light them if needed! All you have to do is marry your best friend and have the most amazing day of your life.
Julia began working with Day of Gal 12 years ago and is now the current business owner. It’s no mistake that Julia fell into the business of planning and organizing events. You know the saying - “find something you love to do and you’ll never work a day in your life?” Well, Julia believes that isn’t exactly true because organizing an event is a lotttt of work, but it is something she truly loves to do. You can’t beat the feeling at the end of a 12+ hour day that you get when your couple is so grateful for you for making their day come to life so seamlessly. Julia works behind the scenes now, owning the business, leading the GALs, handling the marketing, finances and all that good stuff. She loves her team of GALs and giving them full ownership of their events.

She focuses on a stress-free day with her keen eye for detail and excellent ability to multi-task to create the wedding you envision. With her expertise of wedding coordination for more than 14 years, Alison has many weddings under her belt. She will take charge and handle all the details so you can focus on the most important task...tying the knot!
